Detailed Itinerary

01
HANOI – ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR (L)

On arival, our driver pick you up then transfer you to hotel in the old quarter to drop your bags. Relax a bit then be picked up for Hanoi City Tour (If your flight arrive early in the morning, early check in is up to your request)

Today, we will visit 8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world.

Notice:

– Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

– Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

– Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area.

11:15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum (closed on Mondays).

12;45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

with 8 delicious dishes.

14:00-14:15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15:15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”.

Last, let’s enjoy the traditional show: Water puppet before ending at your hotel.

17:15 -17:30: Tour ends. Back to hotel.

HANOI – HOA LU – MUA CAVE – TRANG AN (B/L)

Breakfast is served at your hotel.

08:00AM: Our tour expert picks you up at your hotel, we travel to Hoa Lu. Along the way, we may take some stop-over for photo and refreshment while enjoying rural stunning scenery on the way. Arrive in Hoa Lu which is the former capital of Vietnam (968 – 1009) under Dinh and Le dynasties. Visit Dinh temple, Le temple and surroundings.

Then, we transfer to Mua Cave, start climbing almost 500 stone steps to reach at the top of Mua cave. Feel the fresh air and admire a panoramic view of beautiful Tam Coc.

Have lunch at local restaurant with local food.

After lunch, take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as A World Heritage Site in 2014.

Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the

New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be

persuaded by the beauty here.

17:00: Leave Tam Coc boat and check in the hotel in Hanoi.

HANOI – SAPA (B/L/D)

You will breakfast at your hotel and be picked up by a driver to depart for Sapa Town via the longest highway in Vietnam.

Arrive in Sapa, check in your room. Then our tour guide and local driver will pick you for lunch.

14:30: A short walking to the Gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of

Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, short time for photo with bridge and the waterfall then you will trekking up hill to get back to Sapa with very beautiful scenery in the late afternoon. Driver pick up back to Sapa.

17:00: Back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight at hotel with night activities.

SAPA – FANSIPAN CABLE CAR – MOANA VIEW (B/L/D)

08:00: After breakfast in hotel, driver & tour guide take you to Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

 

09:00: Reaching the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos). (Tickets are included).

11:30: Coming back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.

12:00: Lunch at local restaurant

In the afternoon. We start our easy day with a short walk to Moana View just 700m from the Church. Moana View is the latest checkin station specially made for young people who love to experience the new feeling. There, you will checkin the Bali Gate, Infinity lake, Moana Girl statue, Golden hand, thrilling swing, lonely tree and especially the panoramic Café where you can watch Fansipan peak with spectacular Muong Hoa valley. You can prepare nice clothes, hat..to make the best photos.

17:00: Coming back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight at hotel with night activities.

SAPA – FREE – HANOI (B/L)

Having breakfast at hotel then spend your free time to explore Sapa by yourself  to Ham Rong Mountain or Rong May Glass Bridge or Alpine Coaster…(own cost).

12:00: Checking out and have lunch and enjoy the rest of time in Sapa.

13:00-14:00: Getting on bus to go back to Hanoi with comfort breaks.

20:00 – 20:30: Back to Hanoi. Free in the evening.

HANOI - HALONG BAY- ( KAYAKING/SWIMMING) – (B/L/D)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel then check out your room.

08:00: Pick up at Old Quarter area and transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay (if the package is included transfer service).

12:30 Welcome on board.

13:00 Lunch time (During the lunch the boat is cruising past the small fishing village)

14:30–15:30 Go to Sung Sot Cave (you should bring hiking shoes, camera, etc.).

15:30–16:30 Kayaking at LUON cave (please change your clothes because it will be wet; we don’t recommend you take your camera and cell phone together.)

18:00 Enjoy cooking class, happy hour for drinking, and the sunset party at the sundeck on the 4th floor.

19:15 Dinner is served.

20:30 Relaxing time (squid fishing, karaoke after dinner)

HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLY TO DANANG (B/L)

06:45 – 7:30 Breakfast is served.

07:30 – 8:30 Visit Titop Island, where you can go swimming and hiking. (When we go, you need to bring a swimming suit, sun cream, sunglasses, a little money, …

 

09:45 Check-out time (for the better arrangement, please put your luggage out of the door and return the room key at the reception). Our staff will help you to transfer your luggage to the jetty in advance.

 

09:45 – 10:30 Early lunch is served.

10:30 Pay the bill at the bar counter on the 2nd floor.

11:00 Say good-bye to the crew and disembark on Alisa Harbor.

12:00 Get on the bus and come back to Hanoi. (If you booked Alisa bus)

DANANG – HUE FORMER CAPITAL (B/L)

08:00 – 08:30: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel reception then depart for Hue city.

Begin your journey to Hue by crossing one of the best coastal roads in the world, the Hai Van Pass. You will have an approximately 20-minute stop at the peak and 5 – 10 minutes to take photos at Lap An Lagoon which is a highlight of the beautiful Lang Co sea picture.

11:00: Visit the Khai Dinh Tomb.

12:30: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a Local Specialty Restaurant serving Hue style dishes.

13:30: Continue to Hue’s main attraction, the Imperial Citadel.

15:00: Explore Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s largest pagoda.

16:00: Begin your return to Da Nang.

Finish your Hue City Tour, arriving in Da Nang at approximately 18:00. Free in the evening to explore night markets, Dragon Bridge…

DANANG – BANA HILLS – GOLDEN BRIDGE (B/L)

08:00: ViTravel’s guide and driver will come to your hotel then transfer you to Bana Hills.

08:45: Arrive at the cable car station, our guide will lead you to board then go up to visit the Golden Gate – the famous icon of Danang which was officially inaugurated in June 2018 in Ba Na, was also voted by TIME magazine as one of the “Top 10 best destinations of the world 2018” and admired by The Guardian as “The world’s most impressive pedestrians’ bridge”.

Then, let’s discover the French Village, which reenacts an old fashioned and tranquil France lined with recognizable classical landmarks such as the square, church, town, old village and inns and the dizzily vibrant and fascinating indoor game zone. Fantasy Park si the largest indoor game zone of Vietnam that includes countless games, recreations and sports for families. The Jurassic Park is a must-visit for children fans of the namesake blockbuster “Jurassic Park”. Besides, this complex also puts on offer the first wax museum of Vietnam, in which lifelike figurines are modeled after prominent figures worldwide.

Lunch is buffet option at a restaurant in Ba Na Hills.

DANANG – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN – DANANG (B/L/D)

08:00: The tour guide and minivan will pick you up at the hotel for heading to Da Nang to visit the Marble Mountains and absorb knowledge about religions and gain insight into differences between Buddhism and Hinduism.

10:00: Visit Am Phu cave – walk through a devilish underworld full of demons.

11:00: Our van will transfer you to Monkey Mountain to see the biggest statue of Lady Buddha in Central Vietnam with a height of 67m.

Enjoy beautiful mountain sceneries and romantic sunset from the top of Son Tra peninsula.

Then have a light lunch before going back to your hotel to rest a bit.

13:30: Continue to Hoi An ancient town.

14:00: Get in a basket boat to explore the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest and learn about the daily activities of local fishermen and the village’s history.

15:00: Step into the timeless charm of Hoi An Old Town. Explore ancient temples and houses.

17:00: Enjoy the boat ride along the Hoai River and release the flower lantern.

18:30: Have dinner at a local restaurant.

19:00: Explore the lantern-lit streets, vibrant night market and street food.

DANANG – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

Breakfast is served at your hotel then check out and drive to Danang airport to catch the flight VJ 643

to Ho Chi Minh city – The most vibrant city in Vietnam.

 

On arrival, our local driver is waiting for you, he will welcome you then drive you to the hotel to drop your luggage (Check in time: 14:00).

Let’s refresh first then get ready to be picked up for Cu Chi tunnels at 12:30 – 13:00. The drive will take approximately one and a half hours.

 

Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

 

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

 

Return to your hotel and be free in the evening to enjoy  walking streets, beer streets…

HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (B/L)

After enjoying breakfast at hotel

07:30 – 08:00 Let’s leave the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then  boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

HO CHI MINH CITY – CITY TOUR (B/L)

07:30 – 08:00 Our tour guide will pick you up for HCMC city tour to see the highlights of this bustling city but very interesting.

 

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification palace, which was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.

 

The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.

Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue the city tour by discovering the city’s Western side. Ride to Cho Lon (Big Market) and Thien Hau Pagoda which is located in China Town. Continue to Bach Dang harbor. After checking in the waterbus tickets, and stabilizing your seat, the boat will start to depart. During the trip, you will have a unique view of the most typical commercial buildings of the city including the Vinhomes Central Park urban area, the magnificent Landmark 81 tower, the Bitexco Financial Tower, the green peaceful District 2. A lot of stunning moments are waiting for you. Try to discover the soul of this land – Saigon River by water bus, maybe you will realize many miracles, a more accurate view of the land once called Paris of Indochina or the Pearl of the Far East.

18:00 pm: Transfer back to your hotel. Free to explore the city your way.
